In 1950, Jerry Mecca founded his trucking company in Jersey City, NJ with a single truck, unmatchable hard work ethic and an always positive attitude.
The following year he married Helen and so began a partnership in both life and business that would cause their family and company to grow and prosper.

Helen raised the family while working full time and she and Jerry successfully incorporated the children into their business world which soon expanded into warehousing, packaging, real estate, building, development and more.
From humble beginnings as a depression era child and with a motto of "I can do it!" Jerry became a successful entrepreneur who was beloved and respected by those who came to know him. Jerry believed in and achieved the American Dream and along with Helen's energy and dedication, the entire family has kept Jerry's vision going strong for over 70 years.
